Coffee Club

DATE CHANGE:  This month’s Coffee Club Event has been changed to Friday, February 28.  Please update your calendar and plan to join us! All other Coffee Club events will still take place on the Third Friday of each month. 

Join the Business Incubator Center in collaboration with the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce at our Satellite office Fworks, this Friday, February 21, for our monthly Coffee Club event.  This event serves as a business acumen and networking event for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Starting at 9 AM, every third Friday of each month, we brew conversations and perspectives about issues impacting entrepreneurs and business managers in Mesa County.  Each month we feature speakers on actionable business acumen topics and networking among local businesses managers.

Alicia, an HR consultant with BBSI which has been in the valley since 2019, will share new insights on timely topics on payroll processes, workers’ compensation updates, and other HR related issues that businesses need to know moving into 2025. She has been leading HR, safety and risk management programs for businesses throughout the Grand Valley area for more than 10 years and is looking forward to grinding new topics and sharing a cup of coffee with the Coffee Club this month.

Coffee Club is an initiative by the Business Incubator Center’s program Fworks located at the Civic Building in Fruita. It’s a collaborative effort with the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce to bring business acumen, entrepreneurial discussions, and networking opportunities to small business owners in the Fruita area.  Networking with Coffee Club attendees allows businesses to discuss their small business experiences and provide information of interest to others in our local small business community, beyond just spreading the word about their business.
