Leading Edge

Sessions will be held once a week on Mondays from March 2-April 20, 2026 from 6:00-7:30pm at the Business Incubator Center (2591 Legacy Way, 81503). Virtual options are available if participants are unable to attend in-person a few nights throughout the course.

Leading Edge is an 8-week course comprised of in-person live discussion, on-demand learning, interactive exercises, and conversations with subject matter experts. By the end of the course, participants will have a formulated and well thought out business plan and projections to launch or grow their business. Participants will understand the aspects of running a business and will be able to test the feasibility of their business. This course is designed to be highly interactive and rigorous. Your engagement and collaboration with each other and the subject matter experts in each weekly live discussion is essential. This course concludes with a final pitch night where you will have 5-7 minutes to present your business plan “pitch” to your fellow participants and Business Incubator Center staff and board members. Expect about 3.5 to 5 hours of work each week with on-demand videos, homework, active work on your business plan, and weekly live discussions. During the duration of the course, we encourage that you meet with SBDC advisors help you work through your business plan
